Meet Dr. Emma Scott (Waverly, TN)

Emma Scott, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry graduating summa cum laude. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, with a concentration in Microbiology, magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee.

Dr. Scott is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians (TAOP). She specializes in primary eye care, soft contact lenses, geriatrics, pediatrics, and treatment of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, etc.

She's an instructor for KMK Educational Services where she teaches ocular disease and pharmacology to optometry students before taking Boards.

When she's not treating patients, Dr. Scott enjoys spending time with her husband, their daughter and identical twin boys. She also keeps active with boating, traveling, reading, and judging BBQ contests.
