Meet Dr. Emma Scott (Waverly, TN)

A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry, Dr. Scott also earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Microbiology magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee.

Passionate about delivering comprehensive, personalized eye care to patients of all ages—starting as young as six months—Dr. Scott excels in primary eye care, soft contact lenses, geriatrics, pediatrics, and advanced management of ocular diseases including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts.

Beyond her clinical practice, she shares her extensive knowledge as an instructor with KMK Educational Services, teaching ocular disease and pharmacology to prepare the next generation of optometrists for board success.

Dr. Scott’s commitment to exceptional care earned her the Optometric Excellence Award for Outstanding Patient Care, selected from among 1,000 doctors for her contributions to patients, practice, and the profession.

An active member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians (TAOP), Dr. Scott brings sharp intellect and genuine kindness to every patient interaction. Outside the clinic, she cherishes time with her husband, daughter, and identical twin boys, while staying active through boating, travel, reading, coaching kid’s soccer, and judging BBQ contests.
